The Christian Education and Discipleship (CED) Ministry at Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) is dedicated to nurturing believers through comprehensive biblical education and intentional discipleship programs. Aligned with CITAM’s mission to know God and make Him known through evangelism and discipleship, the CED Ministry plays a pivotal role in fostering spiritual growth and maturity among congregants.

Activities and Programs

  • Class 101: A foundational discipleship class focusing on understanding salvation, church sacraments, and the importance of membership in a local church. Completion of Class 101 is a requirement for CITAM membership.
  • Safari Groups: Small group Bible studies fostering care, fellowship, and accountability among believers through neighborhood gatherings.
  • Safari Cohorts: Equipping disciples who are radically committed to Christ and dedicated to reproducing other disciples.
  • Leadership Development Program (LDP): Empowering believers with leadership skills to effectively serve in ministry and their personal lives.
  • Consistent Bible Reading (CBR): Developing the discipline of regular Bible reading and meditation to enhance spiritual growth.

Key Events

  • Family Discipleship Conference (FDC): An annual conference addressing critical issues in families, marriages, and churches, emphasizing making righteous choices grounded in the Word of God. The 2023 conference, themed “The Choice” (Deuteronomy 30:19), reached 1.7 million youth globally via social media.
  • Publication Launches: Release of discipleship materials such as “In His Presence Bible Study,” “New Believers Guide,” and “Understanding Church Membership – Revised,” aimed at fostering spiritual growth and biblical understanding.
  • Digital Discipleship Initiatives: Expansion of digital platforms, including the Safari App, to reach a broader audience and facilitate remote discipleship.

Biblical Foundation

The ministry is grounded in the Great Commission, emphasizing the call to make disciples of all nations:
